A relationship filled with more drama than the Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston fiasco.
The epic tale of the Monkey King - as told through the Chinese novel Journey to the West, not the Japanese-deviation that turned into the Dragon Ball series - has always been a fascination of mine since I was little. Basically, it's a tale of a Buddhist monk, known as "Sanzo" in the game, who is on a pilgrimage to India and the many dangers he encounters along the way. It's a tale full of mesmerizing magic, powerful gods, demonic creatures, and inventive imaginations. Koei's adaptation of this magnificent journey is respectable enough since it contains the important highlights from the adventure. Their decision to present this as a strategy role playing game is very smart because that genre allows for more breathing room for the story to slowly unfold while providing some interesting gameplay mechanics during the battle scenes.
