RANDOM GAME OF THE DAY:

Bust A Groove (1998)
Developer: Metro
Platform: PlayStation
Purchase Date: 1998

Get ready to press them buttons and get intoxicated by the music.

Bust A Groove is a dance-off rhythm action game. The player has to enter a button input every fourth beat of the music and to rake up combo, different directional commands are also needed to be input before the fourth beat. It's all very repetitive but believe it or not, this game is extremely fun. The characters are all unique -very Japanese, which is a wonderful thing- and the soundtrack is, dare I say, incredible. You just have to listen to "Shorty and the EZ Mouse"... It's infectious, dramatic, emotional, rebellious, and funky all the way. The animation for the dance moves are also quite sick. There is even a super boss battle at the end of the game. Playing this game is like listening to a good album, once you are hooked, you just can't stop!
