I've played Civilization 5 in my friend's house, and just like my friend said, it's an amazing game but very very slow-paced. In 2 hours all I achieved was building a few villages, because a lot of things get done in more than 10 turns.
I don't get the pleasure of conquering with strong military might like in Medieval 2. I mean, beating up a strong empire is more fun than bullying a small kingdom, but in Civilization 5 it just takes too long to get there....
