Civilization V Mega Giveaway Extravaganza!

It's 10 past midnight. I should be going to sleep but here I am still awake and very excited to provide you a chance to win Sid Meier's Civilization V for the Personal Computer! That's right! Civilization V! This game is valued at $29.99 and can be yours with no purchase necessary! All you have to do for a chance to win is join this site using the Google Friend Connect located on the right hand side of the page and then post a simple (or complex) comment on this article to express your interest in winning the game. Please make sure that your email address is in your profile so that I can contact you if you win. All qualified entries must be received by 8am PDT on Friday, 10/12/2012 and the announcement of the randomly selected winner will be published shortly after. Good luck! And oh by the way, since no one won the Bioshock 2 giveaway, the first person who post a comment on that article, which can be accessed by clicking here, will win the game - providing of course that person follows the site as described previously. You need to have a Steam account to claim these games if you win!

Who doesn't want to conqur the world?

Update Note: 10/12/2012 - We have a winner! Congratulations Pieter Voogt! Wow, you got two free games in one week. You should be pretty happy with that. Make sure to check your Steam inventory for the delivery of the game!

I've played Civilization 5 in my friend's house, and just like my friend said, it's an amazing game but very very slow-paced. In 2 hours all I achieved was building a few villages, because a lot of things get done in more than 10 turns.

I don't get the pleasure of conquering with strong military might like in Medieval 2. I mean, beating up a strong empire is more fun than bullying a small kingdom, but in Civilization 5 it just takes too long to get there....

Don't forget to follow the blog to qualify, Pieter Voogt. You don't want to be the only one who wants to participate in the giveaway and then not win the game at the end ^_-
