Capcom deserves a serious beating for releasing this mess.
I am pretty sure that when this game was first announced, I was not the only one who thought that it would be the best cross-over fighting game from Capcom. Just having the characters from Red Earth seemed to guarantee a world of butt-kicking fun. Unfortunately, the game ended up being a mockery of Capcom's accomplishments and credibility. The choices of characters are limited and the cast seemed to have been selected randomly without much thought involved. The ugly old sprites are recycled yet again and to make matters worse, they are used on top of delicious high resolution backdrops. And who the heck is Ingrid? Capcom should be ashamed for blatantly copying SNK's Athena Asamiya...
