It's very strange that even though the artificial intelligence behind Chess video games has become much more improved over the years, their visual presentation seems to have reached its limit... In Chessmaster, there are many different boards to choose from, including some animated ones, but they still lack the humor and wild animation sequences found in Battle Chess. There are more things to do in Chessmaster but truth be told, I found myself more rewarded playing the old Battle Chess on the PC.
