Before You Get Fat You See the Ring?

Fitness is an important part of my life but these days, I have not been keeping up on keeping fit. Late last year, I started using Ring Fit on the Nintendo Switch as my go to exercise routine and I was able to keep to my schedule for about a month and a half before I had to stopped when I scraped the crap out of my left knee. Though I didn't see much progress in terms of weight loss, the routine did increase my stamina and endurance. I wouldn't say that Ring Fit doesn't work because in the past, whenever I get into an exercise routine, it would usually take at least two months for me to see real physical difference. 3+ months later, I feel that it's high time to get moving again. I have made the decision to stop using Ring Fit however because I know that I am not exercising as intensely as I could: too much fun, not enough sweat. I like that Ring Fit made me feel like I was playing a game instead of working out, and that very factor dominated my choices of exercise routines these past several years. But it's time to take it seriously again, without any gimmicks this time around like motion tracking nor cute monsters to kill. It's time to go back to Maya with Yourself!Fitness on the X-Box. It looks like the last time I attempted a return to Yourself!Fitness was in 2014, which feels like a lifetime ago. I hope that things will go smoothly this time around so that I can get the same result the first time I committed to this workout program. Oh, and there will be no streaming me doing my workouts anymore because I want no distractions. I want to be in the zone and I want to feel healthy again! Maya's a bit scary though so let's hope for the best!

If there's a will, there's a Maya.

Dumb Protagonist: Nicole Wilson

I just started playing The Suicide of Rachel Foster on the Personal Computer and I am having a real hard time with the game that I am thinking of quitting it. For those who are not familiar with the title, it's about a woman who has to check out an old hotel she inherited from her father and finding herself trapped there because of a severe Montana winter storm. So you can probably guess one of the reasons for my struggle. Yes, finding myself alone in an a large, abandoned hotel is beyond creepy. The surround mix is phenomenal as you get to hear all the shuffles and creaks from every corner of the hotel while the beautiful graphics really portrays both a sense of beauty and desolation. Here's something you probably didn't expect however, more than the fear of finding what is lurking around the next corner, the most troubling thing to me about this game thus far is how stupid and dense the main character truly is.

The killer is inside the hotel with you Ms. Moron!

Miku: A Gateway Figurine?

In some ways, I am pretty sure that collecting Skylanders has made me admire video game figurines, and I do believe that it made me open to collecting amiibos, which later eased my decision to get into enjoying Hatsune Miku in her physical figurine forms. Well, more interest in Miku figurines means more browsing for more of them and with that, I was lured into the world of other Japanese manga/anime/gaming figurines out there. And boy, these figurines are very beautiful and I have been especially enthralled by those made for the One Piece series. Now I personally have not read the manga or watched the anime but I am familiar with the video games made based off this license. When I saw this Boa Hancock figurine, I was in love and I just had to get her.

My PlayStation 2020 Wrap-Up

I didn't know that Sony was also doing a year-in-review summary of their users' activities like Nintendo did. Apparently, this happened for 2019 but I completely missed that. Now let's see how I did with the PlayStation platforms last year.

I really didn't expect this to be informative but it was.

17 games? I remember playing Sakura Wars and of course Miku.
Who knew Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone was an action-adventure game?

Steam Treasure: Fuck or Die

I go through the Discovery Queue on Steam a lot and I allow Valve to show me everything that it has in store, and I mean everything. As you may expect, there are a lot of crapware on Steam but some are just more special than the rest. Today, I found... Fuck or Die.

Is this the hentai version of Saw?
