The galaxy was testing me today and I was so close to failing that test. While I was working out using Yourself!Fitness on the X-Box, the game glitched out 5 minutes into the routine when I saw Maya, the strict but caring trainer, being stuck in an infinite animation loop. This was quite devastating to me because I was already deep into the groove. I had to reset the system, thus ending my workout session early. I started thinking about replacing Yourself!Fitness with something else. Perhaps I should go back to Ring Fit Adventure on the Nintendo Switch so that I would not encounter this problem anymore on an aging console.
You know that this is a very, very dangerous thought however - quitting one routine to transition to another is not an easy thing to do because one tends to add a lazy vacation period in between the two. Just sticking to an exercise program in itself requires some mental fortitude. I took off my clothes and was ready to jump into the shower to start my evening when I saw the scale sitting in the corner of the bathroom. I would only check my weight during Maya's bi-monthly checkups but since I was thinking of leaving Yourself!Fitness, I stepped on it and saw that I actually lost yet another pound. This brought me back to reality: I know that this program works and there is no way in hell I would allow a rare console hiccup to stop me from sticking to it!

awww, when Maya glitched into the infinite loop, you should have tried for an endurance workout :)
Unfortunately, she was stuck doing the stretches between sets lol.
