Visiting a very familiar place.
This game is much more fun than all the Mortal Kombat 1-on-1 fighting games combined. Midway successfully infused all the familiar MK elements into an incredible side-scrolling beat-'em-up experience with a role-playing-game-influenced character progression to boot. The game contains a whole lot of violence. The only thing that made it less than perfect is the sudden cut-scenes when performing character specific fatalities on the enemies instead of having them performed on the actual battlefield.
