I took my Steam Deck out on the road today. I didn't spend too much time with it however because I didn't have to stay parked that long. I did encounter a snag however with one of the games that I tried to play, South Park: The Stick of Truth. It wouldn't launch at all as it kept telling me that it was out of sync with Steam cloud even though the Deck was set to offline mode.
I had fun with Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde however and after playing a round of that, I exited the game and relaunched it to see if that game also wouldn't start since it became out of sync with Steam cloud after that session but I was still able to keep playing it so I am not sure of the reason behind the issue with The Stick of Truth. I did have to find a shaded parking spot to play with my Deck because I didn't opt for the anti-glare unit and the screen looked great. I was just about to play some The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion but my time was up! It was certainly cool to be able to play quality personal computer gaming in the car.
