A Month Almost Entirely Without Gaming

It's almost the end of February, and this must have been the most unproductive gaming month in my whole gaming life. Many wouldn't consider gaming a productive activity, but those of you who are gamers out there should know what I mean. I had very little time to partake in the hobby this month and would continue down this path at least until early March. It's all due to medical reasons because well, life happens, or more appropriately, sometimes life doesn't want to continue happening, but you know, that's just the way it is.

Life of clamps and needles.

My burning passion for gaming is still unwavering. I am excited about the thoughts of playing my games, watching people play games, and yes, even getting more games. Nothing has changed on those fronts, and though my perspective on time is still the same, my approach to managing it has been seriously altered. I still ensure that I stream whenever I game, I have yet to betray that commitment, but there are times when I can't give it a 100% attention anymore, as in, I would turn on slow mode on the chat and limit it to emote only while having my webcam completely turned off. I don't get a lot of - or any - traffic, so this isn't a big issue, but I know that this is affecting the authenticity of the recording because part of the reason behind me doing this is so that I can capture my reactions to the games that I play. As I began this process earlier this month, it was quite hard to pull myself back into gaming. It's all a matter of getting used to the new lifestyle and let it assimilate into normalcy. It's still a struggle to find that balance but as a gamer, I know that it's all a matter of learning and commitment: life is just another game we play, it's only difficult when we stop trying.
