*What an incredible role playing game! I love the art-style, the 3D graphics, and the grid/turn-based battles.
**Okay, this game plays like the classic Mega Man games of old but what's up with the graphics? There is a fine line between nostalgia and laziness. Those unfamiliar with the game's history may associate 2D gameplay with terrible graphics. As if we need more negativity associated with 2D gaming...
***This is a multiplayer deathmatch game featuring cool-looking robots. The graphics are hot despite it being an X-Box Live title but the control is unresponsive and I deleted the demo merely minutes after playing it.
****Okay, the amount of X-Box Live games listed above may be excessive but this is because I am trying to get my gamerscore up. I have been ignoring the achievements far too long so I think it's about time that I accept the challenges offered and have some fun with them.

Clean and functional interface.

This is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! game on the market despite lacking the online functionality available on the pay-to-play PC version. Most other Yu-Gi-Oh games are not based on the actual classic card battle system that is found here, making this product more valuable than it looks. There are no compromises made when it comes of the way the cards look like on screen - they look just like the real thing instead of the condensed and busy versions found on Nintendo's and Sony's platforms. The monster battles are represented using brief and simple animations on top of the play field. I would like to see another true Yu-Gi-Oh! card battle game on the X-Box 360 or the PlayStation 3.

It is really strange. With me playing the X-Box 360 so much lately, having X-Box Live service down for 24 hours on Monday really impacted my mood to play games. I have been socializing more on Live these days, so that is the only explanation to why I feel a bit down that day. I could have spent my time playing Mass Effect but at least it encouraged me to actually play my PlayStation 3 - participating in WipEout HD's online tournament was thrilling!
