*I will never get bored of watching the game's PhysX mechanics at work. Ever!
Sometimes I would stand still just to see those leaves circling the air around me.

RANDOM GAME OF THE DAY:

ESPN International Track & Field (2000)
Developer: KCEO
Platform: PlayStation 2
Purchase Date: 05/06/2001

The game allows you to enter your name but strangely, that one name
is applied to the different athletes who participate in the different events.

I love this kind of sporting event game because it presents variety and simplicity in its gameplay. There are 10 events in all and you have access to tackle each one individually at your own leisure from the get-go but that is the boring way to play the game. The fun mostly comes from the "Championship" mode where you participate in a series of events during a period of several days and see where how successful you can get at the end of the mini-Olympic. It's competitive and undemanding, great for a quick play when you have nothing better to do. If you have some friends around, it would double the fun factor for everyone involved because this game is really about who can repeatedly press the buttons on the controller the fastest without passing out due to extreme exhaustion - it is always fun to see people maniacally slamming those small buttons on the controller with their fingers/toes. Almost all the events are button-mashers, with the occasional and slower rhythm action moments. Konami even included the arrow matching gameplay mechanics from Dance Dance Revolution into the gymnastics round.
